Sue and Pete McMahon are a Sydney based exciting and versatile acoustic duo with extensive experience in the music industry, delivering a boundless energy to any venue or function with Pete on guitar and Sue on concertina.

They are consummate musicians and performers with years of experience. Their unique, live music provides an engaging and rare atmosphere.

Being able to respond to audience choices, Pete and Sue can provide anything from ballads to folk to dynamic dance sets featuring a huge range of music from the 1920’s to 50’s rock-n-roll.

Always entertaining they fit into any pub, club or venue. Their unique style across many genres is suitable for anything from a relaxed afternoon to a dynamic events - large or small.

Sue is a multi-talented singer and musician playing the Anglo-concertina, keyboard, harmonica, musical saw and largerphone.
The haunting sound of the saw has to be experienced to be believed.
Being the first female President of the Bush Music Club in Sydney, Sue ran dozens of bush dances across Sydney and coordinated colonial balls and music festivals. Sue was a founding member of the Currawong Bush Band which was renowned for concerts, dances and balls in Sydney, Canberra and the Central coast.
Sue has worked with Stringybark, Jacaranda Ceilidh, Bad Wallaby and still is the best looking McMahon Brother!
Sue’s repertoire ranges from classical to rock to colonial ditties.
